Re-Audit

OPTIONAL FEATURE - Contact your RizePoint representative to enable/disable this option.

The RE-AUDIT option allows auditors using Mobile Auditor to perform a re-audit on a location. When using Mobile Auditor PC, These re-audits may be based on compliance or by repeating the entire audit. In addition, an infinite number of re-audits can be performed on a single location. when using Mobile Auditor PC to conduct the audit.

NOTE: You may not conduct a re-audit online.

APPLICATION SETUP
  1. Log on as a user with permission to edit an audit form.
  2. Go to Audit > Audit Setup > Audit Forms.
  3. Create the Audit Form that you want to use to conduct a re-audit.
  4. From the audit form Setup screen, select CONFIGURATION.

  5. From the Re-Audit Type drop-down list, select the type of re-audit allowed on this form.

There are four different re-audit types from which to choose. A re-audit only looks at the previous audit conducted on this form to determine which questions to display on the re-audit. (NOTE: Mobile Auditor PPC uses only the MANUAL re-audit type.)

  6. Click OK.

MOBILE AUDITOR

PERFORMING A RE-AUDIT

The following example demonstrates conducting a re-audit on questions that were marked as non-compliant on the previous audit. Therefore, these instructions pertain exclusively to Mobile Auditor PC, because the NON-COMPLIANT re-audit type is not available for Mobile Auditor PPC. See Manual Re-Audit Type for more information on conducting a re-audit with Mobile Auditor PPC.

As an example, assume an auditor conducted an audit on an establishment, and out of 100 questions, 18 were non-compliant. If the audit type assigned to this audit form is set to NON-COMPLIANT, when the auditor returns the following month to perform a re-audit, only those 18 questions will appear. (If, instead, the type was set to FULL, then all 100 questions would appear.)

To conduct a re-audit:

  1. Start Mobile Auditor PC and perform an update to make sure that all files are current.
  2. If a different auditor conducted the previous audit or re-audit, you'll need to download those results. See Downloading Audit Results.
  3. Select OPEN EXISTING.
  4. Change the Status Type Filter to ARCHIVED. When ARCHIVED is selected, only audits that have been uploaded to the system appear in the list. Note that initial audit results are white, while results from re-audits appear in yellow.
  5. Select the audit or re-audit on which you want to perform a re-audit. If the audit you select has been configured for a re-audit (if the audit type has not been designated as NONE), the RE-AUDIT button becomes enabled. If the RE-AUDIT button is not enabled, see TROUBLESHOOTING, below, for a list of possible reasons.
  6. Click the RE-AUDIT button. The audit begins, but only those questions marked as non-compliant on the previous audit appear in this audit.
  7. Conduct the audit as usual.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If the RE-AUDIT button is not available, it may be due to one of the following conditions:
